I have a Miniature Australian Shepherd (dad was that, supposedly) x Beagle/Boston Terrier (mom was that) mix, and her name is Remington, but we call her Remy. Her father was named that, and it's probably a name for both males and females.

She seems to think my ferret, Grace, is her best friend; but Grace doesn't share the feelings, I'm certain!

Our current male dog is named Winky, and it's just a coincidence that he lost an eye. His name was Butch when I adopted him from the dog shelter and my folks renamed him.

Some other male dogs we've had were Lobo, Thumper, Madison, Bo and Pancho.

Alli is a heeler mix, Douglas is a chihuahua, and Kaira is a yorkie mix.

I used to be an NCIS fan and wanted to name my female dog Ziva, but it didn't seem to fit, so we called her Abbey and the choc Lab is Chloe.

I think that Gibbs would be a great name for a male .
