What is your dream job?

Taking a note from my favorite show Ancient Aliens: My dream job is an ancient astronaut theorist! I have so many questions about our origins on this planet.

Would also go for anthropologist. I actually asked my high school counselor if anthropologist was a good job and she gave me the best advice. Said it was very difficult to get into that industry and you really have to be lucky getting hired by a university. I'd be at least $100,000 in debt for the PH.D with no guarantee of a job. Now that stuff is a hobby for me, with chickens of course!

Get into it as a hobby, and eventually you might be able to make money off of it via youtube videos or something? But it's nice to have something you do just for fun with no money involved. When it becomes a job, sometimes that takes the fun out of it.

I was wondering what all your dream jobs are? My dream job is a farmer as is probably most of BYC if they are not already, but I wanted to hear what people like. If anyone as jobs that are not on the list put them in the chat and tell me why you want to be that? The list will start out with a few jobs, then grow!

I would like to be a zookeeper (zoologist)! I LOVE animals so it is like hallelujah!

Being a zookeeper would be fun if it wasn't for all those pesky people who would want to visit and do things like throw coke cans in the bear enclosure.

My dream job sometimes seems pretty unrealistic
It'd be really cool to become a professor of molecular / cellular biology or bioengineering at a research university and run a lab, but those positions are scarce. Working for a biotech company as a scientist would also be cool. I just fear that I'd end up stuck at the sidelines of research.

Mine is Hatchery and breeder were I can make own cool breeds and breed exotic chickens than sell them. Also a sanctuary.

I also want to be a veterinary lab tech! Like looking under the microscope type stuff.

I hope I'll be able to find a research opportunity fairly soon, but I certainly don't want to be stuck in a technician role indefinitely.
