If by spearmint you mean light green (blue over slight tinted egg) many of my Raraku tend to lay that color. I haven't gotten any new photos in a while but the egg on the right in the nesting box is from one Raraku hen and the one in the top photo is from a different Raraku hen. They are a landrace from Easter Island rather than a breed. :)

These are the rumpless ones, correct?

Cuckoo Marans (and I'm pretty sure other Marans) lay maroon eggs. It's a mix of red-brown.
My experience with Maran's eggs is they lay dark brown but on occasion if there is a heavy bloom it will appear to be "Maroonish." So I didn't think Maroon is an official color. BUT I was just reading that a Croad Langshan will lay a "Plum" colored egg. I didn't know that, might have to get one!

We have a pair of weird-looking hens that don't seem to be any breed in particular. I think they're just a barnyard mix, because they lay blue eggs and don't look like any blue-laying breed. They are a splotchy cream-gold-wheaten-white color with big, red, floppy combs and a skinny body. I thought they might be a mix of Cinnamon Queen and probably a bunch of other things thrown in. Any of that sound Cinnamon Queen-ish?
Check with the hatchery where they originated. The Cinnamon Queen lines used by the hatchery where I get my chicks market them as brown egg layers.

Big red comb fits. Skinny body doesn't, unless they have worms. Here's one of mine. You might also look at their preferred roosting height. I noticed my EE light to be about 5ft and Cinnamons prefer about 3-4ft.

Oh cinnamon queens! I love them! Cilantro, I showed her earlier in this thread, is one of my CQs babies! I had two but sold Paprika due to aggressiveness towards Mira, I still have Cayenne though and she’s SUPER food motivated…
Aren’t CQs road Island white hen with a road island red rooster? So white under feathers (dominant white I think?) but brown/orange on top? I don’t know much about mixes genetics

My Marans did but as they're getting older the color is more brown, less brown/red. I used to see purplish or maroon hue from the bloom, but not so much anymore. Not sure why.

I got a few "Marans" at TSC & they're laying light eggs, maybe they're Australorp & were mislabeled?
Hatchery marans can lay light since they're not color focused

I'm just not sure they're the same...they do look different. The Copper Marans have some coppery color feathers on chest & black feathers down legs to feet. The new birds are all jet black. 🤔 ❓
Oh well, doesn't matter that much, I like them all.

My black copper maran is fully black, she was supposed to be a 2 year old layer but I haven’t gotten a single egg from her yet and I’ve had her since mid-spring

She's beautiful. Maybe calcium in a small feeder could help. There are times I've gotten birds & was misled about age, she may be older.
