What is your favorite EE cross?

I have a Pure Black Ameraucana rooster and am looking to try some different breeds of EEs. I plan to cross my Blue Marans hen to get oliver eggers. Right now I have a silver laced wyandotte hen, barred rock hen, and a red comet. What is your FAVORITE easter egger cross?

I never owned an Ameraucana but I have an EE rooster that I crossed to a buff silkie, I only got two chicks and both are cockerels but I really like them.

This one is bald but that's from an injury.
My EE rooster was bred to a leghorn too and the pullets from that laid green eggs so I am assuming the EE has genetics for brown and blue to make green. Have fun with your crossing, I would be crossing him to my whole flock if he was my bird

Gorgeous! My dream is to make some real good looking Blue laced Red EEs. Or, ultimately blue/red, blue/gold looking EEs! And I think the only breeds with that color or similar are Blue laced red Wyandotte, B/R Orpingtons, and Blue copper marans.

All these were store bought or hatchery EEs... But im obsessed with their coloring. Some other people on here have some even more impressive looking Blue/Red EE hens

They're gorgeous! I am excited to try some different crosses. I have one Silver Laced Wyandotte I crossed with a black ameraucanas. I'll post her picture when she is fully winged!
