You mean breed/type of chicken? I like Easter Eggers. They're very docile and smart (for a chicken). And they make good lap-chickens, we've had 3 and 2 of them were great lap-chickens. And they also sometimes lay beautiful green or blue eggs, but they are mutt breed so they can also lay tinted, brown, or pink eggs. I also like d'Uccles they are true bantams and are also great lap-chickens. And they are known for they're curious and quirky impressions.
