What is your friendliest Chicken? What breed is it?

All of our chickens are pretty friendly, they all come running when we go toward the barn and most of them will eat out of your hands and let you hold them.

Strangely enough it's a hen that I never picked up or tried to tame but she always flies close to me or sits close wanting to be petted, she's a EE

Little red is a 2 yr old Rhode Island Red. She follows us everywhere and would come into the house if allowed. But if you were asking about any poultry, Rosie our Royal Palm beats every one out. I've never seen a chicken or turkey with so much personality.

Our RSL are by far the friendliest, and the EEs and Cornish are the flightiest. The Cornish are tough little things--they'll peck you if you catch them.

All our birds will crowd around your feet for treats, but only the RSL will let you touch them.

My friendlist is my orpington towards other birds if one is sick she sits all night with them
And towards people my rode island red she will jump on your lap if u sit down its so cool

Of all our 30 chickens, the red-sexlinks we have are the friendliest across the board. Our EEs and Sussexes are friendly, but their personalities do vary by individuals.

My sweetest girl is Agnus my Rose comb Leghorn. She definitely does not fit the normal description of Leghorns. I could not have asked for a better chicken. This is here loving on my husband.

We have 6 chickens (2 Cinnamon Queens, 2 Production Reds, and 2 I-don't-know-whats), and Zelda, a Cinnamon Queen, is the friendliest. She eats out of our hands, lets us pet her and pick her up. The others are content to be close, but don't come too close. Zelda is the queen bee and she knows it!
