What is YOUR persimmon forcast?

I guess it doesn't work with Hachyia cause mine didn't have any seeds!!

Mine are just normal wild persimmon. They have lots of seeds, I find them in the ducks pool all the time, evidently they eat quite a few lol. Wish it was light out so I could find a few now, I'm impatient!

So it's the wild ones huh?? These were bought at a garden center!! Will have to ask around and see if anyone has any of those!!

does anyone know if it works with Fuyu or Hachiya?

Cause last year ours did not have seeds. Not that I would not mind cutting up a bunch of Hachiyas....... ewww

I stepped on one going out to check the gate, so I went ahead and brought it in to open. I think one's a spoon, two knives. So snow and ice? I'll grab a few more tomorrow, and figure out what there's the most of. Hopefully not knives, I hate ice.

Julie, those are kind of hard to read, but if you take a pair of channel-lock pliers and squeeze them from the sides, the top splits open for a good read.

Deerman, I'd be happy with forks, but you're going to have a thick winter, it seems...I'm preparing for what we had last year (which was heavy, wet snow, lots of it) and VERY prolonged periods of below zero temps. I feel very vulnerable without an alternate way to heat the house. No fireplace, no wood stove...feels icky.
