we could be neighbors.

We only have one Asian persimmon, so no seeds. However, I'll go out on a limb and say no snow and minimal ice.

Julie, those are kind of hard to read, but if you take a pair of channel-lock pliers and squeeze them from the sides, the top splits open for a good read.

Deerman, I'd be happy with forks, but you're going to have a thick winter, it seems...I'm preparing for what we had last year (which was heavy, wet snow, lots of it) and VERY prolonged periods of below zero temps. I feel very vulnerable without an alternate way to heat the house. No fireplace, no wood stove...feels icky.

we used a 'mr buddy gas heater' one winter before we moved out in the country and got our wood stove- we lost power for 8 days, cooked on it- and kept us going- i think it was about $100

We had knives a few years back and it was dead on. Last year was spoons. Dead on. I'm not going to be happy until we have a dead on FORK year...I like mild...hate cold!
