The decoration, the table setup, the centerpiece and, of course, the food!

herb roasted and stuffed bird
sausage and giblet stuffing
slow-cooked green beans in ham broth -The Best!!!
steamed veggie mix w/ butter, salt and pepper
roasted tunips and parsnips au gratin
whipped potatoes (Rusty's family never has a meal without these)
sweet potatoe casserole with marshmallows -a local fave:)
martha's recipe for baked mac&cheese -the best I've ever had
collard greens in cider vinegar and pepper hmmm

Today is totally dedicated to baking:
pecan pie
pumpkin pie cheesecake
brownies
peanut butter cookies
oatmeal cookies
window pane sugar cookies -the dessert is the best part!

Thanks Henny's mom! I forgot the yeast rolls. Our menus look awefully similar

I was thinking of peas too. It seems like I have all starch......maybe I'll do them too.

We just have 1 guest coming over: my MIL.

I'm keeping it simple.

turkey (brined in apple cider & spices-yum)
stuffing (awesome Williams Sonoma recipe that we LOVE)
mashed tato's & Trader Joe's gravy (hey, I said simple
big_smile.png
)
green bean casserole
cranberry sauce
some kind of dinner roll

Not sure about the dessert yet. MIL is diabetic so it probably won't be a tradtional pie.

Pumpkin pie
Apple pie
Fudge (over 100 year old recipe)

I am doing this all by myself!!!!! YIKES! On Saturday though 15 people
