What is your thoughts about my Silkie?

Here is my silkie rooster,pics aren't that great. I was just wondering if there was any posibillity of a show bird!?

This is the same bird in the pics, as you can tell, he had been in the dust bath in one!

Probably not, looks pet quality to me. However, my silkies aren't that great either and I still take them to local shows just for fun! So maybe you could do that also.

how old is he? He really needs a fuller crest.

Make sure he has 5 toes, that his comb isn't red or too close to red in color, that his skin is really dark. . . Past that, he's pretty young to judge, but certainly looks hatchery quality. His crest needs to be much bigger, for starters.

He is five and a half months old.
He is starting to get spikes in his crest does that mean it is filling in?

He is young he will fill in more as he grows but he does not look show quality.

Red comb, huge wattles, small crest, too long through the legs, lacking in both the crest and cushion, sparse foot feathering, not round enough through the chest.... definitely pet quality.
