What is your worst hatching fail of all time?

Hi everyone, I was wondering what all have you guys failed on when hatching chicks?

My worst hatching fail was when I did my first hatch of this season and I did not attach the turning trays correctly. I lost a whole batch of 24 eggs.

My worst hatch was about a year ago when one of my barnyard mix Nina (at the time was newly laying) decided to make a nest while free ranging one day... one day we couldn’t find her so we looked and looked and she was on a nest of 26 eggs of her own!!! I didn’t want to leave her on the nest outside of the coop where predators could get her so I put her in the coop and candle the eggs in side, quite a few of them had blood rings due to lack of heat.. but 5 were viable( this was in the summer so they kinda incubated from the heat, while Nina was in the coop) about a week later one pipped! ( in the bator) But than died when it hatched...than another one hatched!! But died as well. I think since she started later that they weren’t strong enough and because of the cool temp...
