And socks, but I stopped caring about that. Just so long as I have two socks on my feet, I'm happy. Besides, I either wear fun socks or white socks that all look the same. So it looks like I'm doing it on purpose!

*scoff* How silly!
EVERYBODY knows that deep under the hot water heater, just out of sight, there is a tiny elephant that sucks them up and eats them!
He only comes out while the washer is running, in case someone hears him, and when you come in to see why the washer is making funny noises, he disappears back into the shadows.....

ANY tools I really like are hidden where the guys in the family are forbidden...my *ahem* dresser drawer under the lacy things.
Here I keep safe from misuse, abuse, breakage and loss my dremel with the 1,000 different attachments, my really good specialty pruning saw and pruning shears. My best pocket knife.

I have given up on ever having tape or scissors; I keep extra screw drivers in places like the tupperware drawer and the change bowl. Guys tend not to borrow my grandma's heirloom fancy brush and mirror. Helps that I buy bags of combs at regular intervals.
