What Job Did You Want To Do As A Kid?

I wanted to catch water moccasins. ( My dad had a friend who did that.)
Then I wanted to be a chicklero so I could live in the rain forest.
I told my Dad I wanted to be a mercenary. He said I should be an overseas construction worker and I "wouldn't have to sleep in the woods and get shot at."
I majored in Geology in college until I learned that you worked in a tall building looking through a microscope instead of pulling a mule through Mexico.
Since then I spent 20 years as an electrician /contractor then 20 years as a nurse.
I STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

I desired a lot of different careers throughout elementary school. Airline pilot, bus driver (lol) and nuclear engineer come to mind.

When I was 7 or 8, I wanted to be a vet. Then I realized blood wasn't for me.
Same, I wanted to be a vet up until I was about ten years old. I was at the vet with my mom one day (taking my dog in for a check-up) and this lady came running into the office carrying her dog that had just passed away. She was bawling and I had to sit there and listen to the guy over the counter say how they could store her dog in the back freezer until she decided what she wanted to be done with it. I was mortified, and I just don't think I could deal with dogs passing away all the time. Now, I would love to be a jiu-jitsu coach or a photographer.
