What Killed Lorelei.. Layman's Necropsy(WARNING!!-GRAPHIC PICS BELOW)

Considering that they all came from the same place, the same age, I would say it could be traced back to the breeders they came from. JMO, currently anyway, unless I discover something different.

So sorry, Cyn, you have me convinced that the problems all stem from the same breeder/hatchery. Like someone else said, spring will bring much needed changes for you and Tom. I feel like all I and others are saying to you lately is...We are so sorry. The words seem so empty but you know each of us truly mean it from our hearts.

You know, Carrie, I feel like I do nothing but complain lately. I'm such a downer!

Not all is terrible here. Most of my birds are in glowing health, the rest are molting and their bodies are going through tough times, with temps here about 25 degrees and 30 mph winds. Wish they'd all finish their molts before the real winter hits us. Skye is growing feathers back since she finally stopped laying, but I'm worried about her because her sides and bum are almost completely bare. So far, these serious egg issues have only affected my hatchery stock. Tux's little soft egg thing I believe is related to her molt, but she's very perky today and seeems fine.

You have a legitimate reason to complain, please don't apologise for telling us what is going on with your flock. The fact that it is only your hatchery birds tells the story. I am worried about mine now as they will be two next spring. Hopefully, all will be well as I am sure that this is not a common occurence in hatchery birds. But I do know I would prefer to have stock from individual breeders...my Irish superstitious background here speaking..
