What killed my chicken?

    Hi, sorry this photo might be a bit graphic but this is the third chicken we have lost to a mysterious predator in two weeks and we are down to only 4 chickens now.

    Any idea what is killing these ladies?

    So sorry for your loss...When were they killed? Night or daytime? Did you see any evidence of how they got in? Were your birds locked up? I've read raccoons also eat breast meat or just the head, but also so does a possum that finds the kill. Did all the birds look the same way when you found them?

    Without knowing more about the area and time I would say it was likely a Possum. Hope you get it figured out.
