one of the easiest enclosures is an electric poultry fence....its movable and you can get a solar powered energizer if an electrical outlet isn't nearby. Premier 1 makes a very nice one. its a little pricy, especially for the solar energizer, but really easy to set up and use. The fence really packs a punch. Our 3 dogs, who were very interested in our chickens each touched it exactly once. They will not even look at the chickens now. Apparently it really hurts, but is not dangerous, so it is a perfect deterrent.
