What killed my ducks

Had an attack tonight. Had multiple ducks injured. One partially eaten with head torn off. 2 dead with no apparent injury and 2 completely missing.
Had an attack a few months ago with multiple eaten ducks and chickens. Several missing ducks and chickens. Lots of feathers and 3 dead chickens left.

without knowing where you live or kind of predators you have I will guess a raccoon. Raccoon will carry off chickens, take heads and partially eat them. Just a guess.

The only thing that carries them off here are foxes,bob cats and coyotes. Foxes are raising their young in mid March and they love nothing better than ducks

Raccoons are known to bring their friends and family to dinner and leave a bloody mess for you to clean up.

Whereabouts are you located (no specifics, just general region)? Did the attack happen out in the open, or did something break into your coop and run?

Our members are pretty good at making an educated guess on what happened, but more details are needed.
