The only sure cure for any chicken killing varmint is to scatter the varmint around your property much like the unknown varmint scattered the remains of your hen around your property.
The best option is what is sometimes called "integrated" pest management. This involves a strong pen, coop, run, or other chicken housing option but also includes any number of actions or devices that will prove fetal or at the least extremely painful to the varmints.
For what it's worth foxes usually abscond with their victims and are not in the habit of leaving any part that contains calories lying around. I would recommend that you look at a skunk as your prime suspect. If you examined the part of the wildebeest that these 3 tribesmen stole from the lion pride you may think that men killed this wilderbeest not lions.
