What killed the Chicken?

Hey all, a friend sent me this text this morning, just wondering what tour thoughts were on how his chicken died. My guess would be weasel but not 100% sure. Here’s what he sent me:

“So one of our chickens is dead this morning and its insides are completely eaten out. What would do that don't have any cracks or anything in the building don't think a weasel could've got in there.”

I'd think raccoons with that. That's what happened with my ducks.

Hard to say. Probably weasel. My suggestion would be for him to put up a game camera. The predator will be back and then he will know what he is dealing with.

I don't think weasels eat organs. I've only ever heard of them eating the neck and heads

I don't know what predators he has. A game camera most likely will show what is lurking and probably the killer. Most predators return especially if they have made a kill. I had a bobcat kill 14 birds one night. It didn't come back the next night but did make the mistake of coming back following night.
