What kind and how to tell the sex?

So after begging my hubby to let me add ducks to our flock I got these two beauties. I got them from Tractor Supply so they were all together and not sexed. I also am not sure what kind they are. Yep you can tell I am a newbie to ducks.

Do they quack? About how old are they? At least a couple of months, I think.

Generally, voice changes come before curly tail feathers. Quacks are from females, mumbles and rasps are from males.
 
The spotted one is a fawn and white Indian Runner. I think the brown duck is a mallard, Both look like hens to me; a male mallard would have a dark head that would eventually turn green. I think male fawn and white runners also have darker heads, but a darker brown, not green. Then again, it may still be too early for the darker male coloring to show up.

X2 But when i had male fawn and white runners only the brown spots on their head got darker. The white stayed white.
