What kind of baby chicks do I have? :)

I ordered 10 baby chicks from Tractor supply. I ordered the Assorted Color Egg Production Baby Chicks pack. They were supposed to be a mixture of Americana, Cuckoo Marans, French Black Copper Marans, Midnight Majesty Marans, Prairie Bluebell Eggers, Olive Eggers, Sapphire Olive Eggers or Starlight Green Eggers. I am very new to this. I tried to look these up online, and they all look like Americana's to me. Can anyone tell me please? Thanks!

I don’t think you will know for sure until they are older. A lot of breeds look similar as chicks. And tractor supply has been known to be a crap shoot sometimes. Keep us posted. I’m interested to see what kinds you ended up with.

The black and white ones are wyandottes, but the rest in this picture are speckled Sussex. They look pretty similar to yours. I’ve had Sussex crosses with RIR and wyandottes that looked exactly like those too.

Wow! They do look similar!! That is funny...Well I am happy whatever they end up being. They are all so cute, and all of the eggs will taste good. TY again!

Also when you post pictures in a couple of weeks (please do!) make sure it’s in natural light not the red heat lamp light. It will help with identifying them better I just love baby chickens!!

Hi there. I know this was posted about 6 months ago. Do you have any updated photos? Did you figure out what breeds you have? I just ordered the same from TSC.
