What kind of bantam is this?

This is peepers, he is over a month old and is already crowing. When I first asked, they said he was a silver duckwing old english bantam. And I thought he was to. But he no longer looks like a duckwing. So what kind of old english bantam is he?

What about him looks different to what you saw in your search?

I'm assuming you probably saw a lot of dubbed cockerels when you looked them up.

I get a lot of these. The stature is thea same. But wattles and combes are different. Are theythere the "dubbed" cocks you mentioned?

Yes. If this bird was left natural, he would look a lot like yours. This one has been dubbed for show.

Ahah. Though peepers doesn't have his tail feathers yet either . He and his young flockmate are the first two bantams we got. So I know next to nothing about the different breeds
