What kind of Bantams are these?

We have 4 Bantams, we know that one is a Black Cochin. The other 3, I have no idea. Two look very similar but the coloring is slightly different. Pics below, let me know what you think. They are between 5 and 6 weeks old - and if you can tell if they are pullets or cockerels, that would be great too - if not, I can wait until they are older to find out but dying to know what breed(s) they are!

I have no ideas on the breeds the first one is definitely a pullet though. They're very pretty.

Thanks, I really don't care if they are male or female, but would love to know sooner rather than later I'm so excited to find out what kind of Bantams these actually are!! LOL

I'm trying to find some really young photos of them too - maybe that would help some that are use to telling the breed from the way they look as chicks?




The first pic is from the first day we got them, you can see the back of the yellow chick (this is the one labeled as #3 in my first post) next to our Black Cochin. The second picture is when his/her feathers just started coming in.

#1 and 2 I instantly thought EE and then seeing them as chicks confirmed it. I would also say #1 is a pullet and #2 possibly a roo.
Totally not an expert though, just my opinion. I'm no help on #3.

Awesome about #1 and #2! Thanks for letting me know, wish someone knew was #3 was because I really like that little chick and would love to know what it is! I think he/she is SO cute It was the smallest one we got at the time and he/she is very striking now. Just so pretty to look at and I love the way it carries itself

Does anyone think that #3 could be some kind of mottled Japanese Bantam? The only pictures I can find that look at all similar to #3 are mottled Japanese Bantams so thought I would put it out there. That would be awesome because I think the Japanese Bantams are gorgeous!

bantam #1 is an ameraucana bantam#3 might be an adolusion

#1 looks pullet, but its single comb so I don't know for sure what breed unless it is an EE
#2 and 3 looks cockerals

There isn't very many bantam Andalusians here in the US. No hatchery would have them just yet. #3 is Splash so if it is from a hatchery, look up blue breeds, maybe Blue OE's ? Or if it has tan into the feathers, maybe Porcelain color? I remember Ideal Hatchery having splash and blue and porcelain bantams.

All of them got single combs.

I'm definitely no expert, but I'd say the first two are probably EEs, the last one looks nearly identical to my mystery bantam(though more rooish) - I'm leaning toward splash OEGB for her. I'd agree with other posters that the first looks like a pullet, the other two look awfully rooish. Have hope though,I had a baby a few years ago who I just knew was a cockerel, but she's my best layer now!
