What kind of bird is it

Anyone have a clue what kind of bird this is? Little guy hung around on the feeders most of the summer

Blue grosbeak perhaps? I live in the Uk so we do not get them here, very pretty

Its difficult to see the picture very well, It looks a lot like an indigo bunting, but it looks large. But since I don't know how big the feeders are, I have nothing to compare to. We get ours in here in flocks in the winter. They don't usually feed on the feeder, but on the ground, but they are tiny things.

Looks like an indigo bunting - a little smaller than a sparrow?

Oops, I was looking while you were writing. The grosbeak would be more consistent with the feeder and the size of the bird.

Indigo Bunting - Grosbeak would be at least the size of the cardinal, and have some brown also on the wing bars
