What kind of bird is this? A Grackle?

The grackles and starlings co mingle together in this great town. They are like the black locusts of the yards LOL! I hated them and they crap on everything and weed out the beautiful cardinals out of bird feeders. Nasty birds!

I’m in Fort Hood Texas visiting my 6 week old tonight grandson and these birds are the biggest I have ever seen up close

They, at one time I counted 15, eat the dog food

I love the males shimmering rooster like tail feathers

When we were in San Antonio the locals referred to them as "S&!T birds".

I love gracks because they're such lively birds but I don't like how they crowd out my other shyer birds at the feeder. They're also bad about stealing dog food too. I saved an injured one as a kid though so I have a soft spot for them.
