This is Carmela, we’re going to get her a buddy today as her buddy died little bit ago. I always thought that maybe she was a real red hen but she’s so much more of a caramel then I had actually of observed.

What breed is my girl?

She looks like my "Special Brown" hybrid egg layer from the hatchery. Where did you get her?

I got her from a neighbour who’s just been breeding them and farming for her mom for years. They didn’t know. I’m in Kelowna, BC. Not a lot of legit hatcheries over here. Just old school style of selling chicks
