Yep, somehow they pried the siding of the house and now we have 3 eggs. Everytime you walk by the parents fly by and I haven't caught what they look like, I never pay attention, just hear them fly. I took pictures today.

DETERMINED birds, that's what kind!

What color are the eggs? Can you give us an idea of how big the adults are?

I know nothing about birds but tomorrow I will try and look. From the pictures they look blue. I saw as much as ya'll do. I didn't want to mess up the nest and its about 7' up, so I held my phone above my head on top of a cinderblock and took the pic.

That's what I was thinking... robin's eggs.

So I had birds nesting in my... oh too tired to remember the word... is it eave? The dormer's edge basically. It had become an annual nest and we never had the heart to yank it out... well, several years later when I was getting water in the house..... the siding guy kindly removed the nest for me when he resided my dormers.

Those look too pale for Robin eggs. . . And I've never heard of Robins nesting in such a spot. Interesting though - We get swallows who like to nest up in the ceiling of our coop in the summer, but I've never seen the eggs, and the nest is comprised of a small percentage of dirt and mainly hay, straw, etc.

We have starlings in our over hangs on the edge of the house. The nest, well what I can see, looks a bit loose like that one. There are two nests one in back and one in front of our apartment building. They are noisy birds. Never seen what their eggs look like though.

Barn swallows but I do know for a fact that barn swallows make their nests out of mud spits. So I would have eliminated barn swallows.

Maybe house finches?

Pictures would be good!

They are about the size of a penny/dime. I walked by there today and one of the eggs were visible from under the nest, the nest was being turned sideways I guess from the board pushing out. If I stepped under it and a foot back I could see all eggs. Should I adjust it? I didn't put the egg back in because I don't want to disturb the nest if I shouldnt. But if it keeps sliding all the eggs will fall. My guess is maybe eastern bluebird/
