What kind of breed??

I have 4 RIR chickens and i plan on adding 3 more, my original plan was to get 3 barred rock eggs and hatch them myself,
But i was wondering if there are any other breeds that are winter hardy and would be a great addition to my flock

I highly recommend black Australorps. Very good egg layers and mine has done fine with Colorado winters.
