could be a partridge Rock. I've seen some very odd colored black sex links on this board, but I don't think this is one, just too much brown.

Definitely not a black sex link male. Those are black with a white head spot, and feather in barred, like a barred rock pullet.

Post again around the 6 week mark, we'll have a better idea then.
