What kind of chicken breed is this? And how should it be taken care of if it doesn't eat right?

My boyfriend had three that looks like this and two died. He lives on a farm and they have other baby chicks all together with Indian runner ducks. And I don't want this one to die. I've been taking care of it and it loves being held to snuggles right up in my hands and falls asleep. It use to wake up and eat and drink then fall asleep again but it's been so sleepy today it hasn't eaten and only drank a little. And it's hot where I live. Please help

It looks normal like the other chickens. Solid. Just once it was watery.

It may be very uncomfortable with the heat. Is the house (brooder area ?) too hot for him? Maybe you could temp him with some scrambled egg, or plain yogurt? Sometimes that can get them eating again.
