What kind of chicken is this? I thought it was supposed to be a BCM but it doesn't look like the others??

It has orange eyes, so fits for Marans or maybe a Marans cross, if it was purchased from a backyard breeder. Sometimes black copper Marans females don't get much or any red coloring in the plumage.

Other black varieties like Jersey Giants and Australorps have dark brown to black eyes, which is why I think this bird can't be either of those. It has red earlobes, so it's not a fit for Mediterranean breeds like Andalusian or Minorca.

She does have a small amount of red feathering around her throat

They were purchased from cackle hatchery I believe, possibly Myers I ordered chickens from both I can't remember which from which hatchery.

This one does not but most of the other ones that look like her do have at least some. Both of the roosters have feathers going down their legs.

This definitely means she is not a full Marans.
