oh thank you, I bet your right...... my daughter, 10 went with her dad ..... because she wanted a frizzled silkie, so thought it would be a good mothers day present.... I get to own it... technically which means I get to take care of it and she gets to have it..... in theory...lol

He may have even told her it was a sizzle frizzle... because she was under the impression til a couple days ago that a frizzle was a type of chicken not a genetic attribute like straight or curly hair...

Your birdie is very pretty...... now I have to look up sizzles... never seen one before..

I would have thought D'Uccle. But, on my way home from visiting my son and my Dad (7 hrs away) I of course stopped to check out some Silkie chicks...ad was on Craig's List. NIce lady. She had 3 incubators with lots of eggs and chicks in a room in her home. Any way. I picked the only 2 blue colored chicks, one lighter that the other Silkie and 1-2 weeks old. I also looked at the other chick. Some of the older ones she told me were from some crosses she had between Silkies and Cochins. I asked about one in particular. I would have sworn up and down that it was a D'Uccle. It even had the hock feathers and long toe feathers. Just like the one in your picture. I never knew that a cross betenn those two breeds would turn up chicks like that!! She had no D'Uccles.
Wonders!!!

So...I would say a Silkie/Cochin cross.
