In the spring I let each of my children pick out a tiny bantam chick from the feed store. They were just assorted bantams. Out of the three we got a fluffy white one, a black and grey silky, and this extra tiny black one that looks a bit like a crow. Anyone know what she is and what color of eggs I can expect?

She's gorgeous!

What kind of comb does she have? If its a single comb I would guess Black Old English Game bantam. They are friendly, wonderful mothers that lay off-white eggs.

You can also post at "what breed or gender is this," I'm no good at guessing breeds - all I can tell you if she is black but, you already know that.

She has kind of a tiny black comb. Her wattles are extra tiny too. So pretty much she is the tiniest chicken I have ever seen and I wonder if she will ever lay for me.
