am new to this so please don't be to hard on me

I would like to know what kind of chicken this is - it has the body type of a lakenvelden but it has black top feathers and gray on the underneath - it has red waddles with white spots on each sides of its face - it is a rooster with black tail feathers

also - the exchequer chickens come white bodied with black spots on its tail feathers and wings - both are beautiful roosters but there may have been some fooling around in the hen house

Hello and WELCOME TO BYC !!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm Is this what you are talking bout ? A Blue Andalusian ? http://www.kippenencyclopedie.nl/php/index.php?title=Andalusiƫr Thats the about all I can come up with with just a description of a Mediterainian class roo with a black on top and grey on bottom. But if this is it, just FYI the color is Blue in both the light and dark areas, it is a dilution of black so there is no real grey and black in the bird.

IF this isnt it then we will probably need pics to tell you. Here is how to post pics https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=504
