Just noticed this thread. Remove this rooster from flock containing other roosters. Do not put adult game roosters in with other adult roosters of any type. My suggestion is you place him and hen in their own pen. Then slow yourself down and do not look at any of your birds directly. You should be able to tame that rooster and his hen down to a point you can not do with other breeds with minimal effort. Let him get used to the new smaller pen for a couple days and give him only about 1/2 you think he will eat in the morning. Then in the evening give him only very small bites every time you walk past pen. I suggest you try giving him live mealworms as treat. I use games as teaching tools and they are very easy to tame and train. You should be able to get him to eat out of your hand and possibly come to you when called by name.
