What kind of chickens do I have?

Hello, and welcome to BYC!

I'm glad you joined our community.

Your reddish pullets may be Red Sex-Links or Production Reds. The bantam without feathered feet looks like a Old English Game, while the bantam with feathered feet is a Millie Fleur Belgian Bearded D'Uccle.

They said they don't know what kind they are. They are just given new chick every Wednesday until easter
No offense but that is kind of insane and bad management.
If you talk to the store manager and they don't know what they ordered or the breeds that were listed on the shipping form, I would call TSC headquarters and tell them how this is being mismanaged.
Every feed store I've been to has the breed and variety clearly displayed on the brooder/

The hatchery they came from will know what breeds were shipped to them.

Your experience is just not how this works.

oh I had no idea. I thought most stores just had to know the breed but I didn't think it was mandatory

It may not be mandatory but it just isn't good business to not know what you're selling.
The hatchery must know for inventory sake and the retailer must know because a buyer wants to know if they're buying a meat, egg or DP breed.
I certainly wouldn't buy a chicken if I didn't know the breed. If you want egg layers, you wouldn't buy Cornish/Rock crosses which are usually at each TSC.

Definitely don't ask the cashier, talk to the manager.
