what kind of chicks?

If they are bamtams.Would it hurt them to stay in the house if they never get big enough to go outside? I'm worried that they won't get used to the heat here as they are to small to go outside. And I'm not sure of what breed they are.plus they seem really close to us.how much space would they need

Bantams aren't known for being lazy. Are your birds not active?? They maybe sick. Not very sure about taking care of chickens inside, hopefully someone else can help you in that respect.

Bantam is not a breed, it is a size standard. Silver Hamburgs can come in normal size or bantam size, a lot of breeds can. But there are also breeds that only come in bantam size.

Do you know why a chick 7wks would hold her neck in but can stretch it out and she's acts just like the others do but maybe a little submissive

yea she's acting normal eating drinking walking around. The other 2 with her seem to try to protect her
