what kind of Duckie am I

So it is the time of year at the wildlife rehab that all the easter gifts come in when people discover they are more work then first thought
this little one came in and we have no clue what kind of duck it is
in the picture it is the one with the black tail
anyone have a guess

Little bit hard to see in the pic..But Welsh Harlequin or Appleyard would be my guess.

So sad to think how many people only want a duck when they are tiny and fluffy. Adult ducks can be just as cute and have such wonderful personalities.

the sad is I get calls day in and day out to go get them from ponds where people dump them it is in the 30s here at night the poor babies

Its a Silver Appleyard!!!! Your so lucky!! I raise them they are a nice large duck and very calm! I have welsh also and it isn't a welsh. Welsh are a buff color with graying on the face fluff
