what kind of gosling is this?

i just got it yesterday and i haven't been able to get a definite answer. I dont know how old it is exactly my best guess is about a week give or take a few days.

Hi cg. I´d say a few days, too. It looks a bit buffy coloured in the pics. Is it? It could do with a little friend, goslings really need other goslings. You could use a mirror for it meanwhile. Very sweet.

it is a bit fluffy. What kind would you say it is? I was thinking embden. What gender would you say it is? i would like to get another of the same species but the opposite gender for breeding in later years. Hopefully having more females than males. this is my first gosling, ive had a duck before and tons of chickens. I had originally thought it was a duck until my great grandfather told me otherwise( he is currently breed his chickens and knows his stuff) he said it was a toulouse but i found that every picture of them i saw had a dark beak not a light one like mine.

We dont know with mixed breeds so we have to wait till about 4 weeks but males tend to be very light in colour

Its mostly yellow with light brown on its back and a light brown spot on its head
