The OP's hawk is a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. Notice the larger head proportionately to its body, markings on the tail and breast (and overall shape).

The hawk pictured in HorsefeathersZ, to me, looks like a Sharp-Shinned. Notice its thin pencil- like legs & its small head proportionately to its body.
