what kind of hen is this sweet girl?

She just had chicks so im curious what kind of verbage to use when describing her. the roo she mated with is yellow and speckled but appears to be the same breed so im wondering what kind of chicks we have!

I am not chicken expert, but I would love to give it a go.

As she is sitting so it is hard to see how big she is and the rest of her feather.

Base on her face, I think she looks like a Japanese bantam or a bantam Australorp.

Thank you! I'm thinking Japanese Bantam is the closest fit. They dont have quite as upright tails, but other than that its a match! Thanks so much Heres a bonus pic of my roo too!

Might be Dorking, or have Dorking in her. One of the oldest breeds, very friendly, stable little birds.

My goodness he is handsome, just the posture there he is like a general walking in a hurry to his next important work.

I have 2 Japanese bantams, 1 has the tail right up straight and the other one is not, her tail is at an angle 45degree mostly, but sometimes it is straight up right.
