what kind of hen is this?

does anyone know what kind of hen this may be, noone is able to tell me , bought her at feed store, but they were not sure what she was? thanks,

Any idea how old she is? She actually looks like a Delaware, but her size suggests she should have outgrown all the "extra" black by now. Maybe a Delaware cross.

She may be a Del cross, but isn't pure.

Delaware and orph cross would be my guess.

I'd say that she isn't a pure Delaware, but her mother or father was. She has some red or orange mixed in those genes. BO perhaps.

A hen that I had was colored the same. She was the offspring of a White Rock hen and Barred Rock/Rhode Island Red rooster.
I absolutely love the "mixes" and have a great affection for the "pure" also. What a burden...!
