If you are thinking to buy Green breeders do not buy more than one or two hens. They won't likely breed until they are four years old and if the cock does not kill the extra hens the other hens will.

I wasn't even going to buy a few in total, because I don't know what gender it's anyway. Are these peacocks so aggressive? The guy told me that males have clean feathers in their wings and females have spots. If I understood correctly, he meant the brown feathers in the wings.
If the breeder can't name what line they are out of with confidence they are spaldings not greens. These appear to be high percentage spaldings. Even high percentage spaldings tend to be very aggressive both to each other and to their owner. I have import line greens and you have to carry a trash can lid in the pen with you to keep the male off of you.
