I got this peachick, Piper, yesterday along with 2 white ones. I know he's pied, but what kind of pied?

Thanks! I know very little about peacocks. Piper seems to be a bit calmer than the two white ones when being held. Any guess on age?

Think it's even that old? Mine was 5 weeks on Monday and it's almost fully feathered (just not the neck yet) and has a crest about 3/8" long. This is my first peachick so I have no idea if it's development is normal for it's age...

Looks two weeks old to me, all of my month old peachicks all have crowns and that one still has all baby down. But some grow faster than others.

yes would say 2 weeks 3 at most....note feathers just coming in on the shoulders(where wings join) so more than a week. Crest starts coming in at 4 weeks.

Pied more likely blue , but could be bronze. blues more common than bronze.

Note the yellow patch on the back....thats where the train feathers will come from if its a male.

Thanks for all the responses! Piper's going to to be one of my best buddies( whether he likes it or not.)
