What kind of Polish chicken... and gender huh?

Okay, so I wasn't expecting to be able to tell gender, and maybe I'm reading too much into this, but my little day old classroom chicks seem to have a few that are really screaming ROO to me... The way they stand, constantly... acting in charge... I'm really wondering...


Also.. These are all Polish chicks, but can anyone tell me more specifics on what kind of Polish they might be?

I'm worried this one is blind... spends a LOT of time alone...

This little blonde one is acting very roo like...

Had to rescue this one.. it was dried inside the egg.. had to chip egg away... poor thing. (doing great now!)

This looks more like a mottled houndan than a Polish.

Yeah I don't know how to vent sex... and I figured we'd have to wait. It just seemed crazy that the blonde one was so roo like this early. Bossy.. standing tall... looks out for the others..

They were ordered from Ideal Hatcheries... and were supposed to ALL be polish... hmmm?

OMG... I just saw the fifth toe... I'm having to resist the very strong urge to run up to my classroom to check that out... WOAH!!
