I vote for houdan that was my first guess when I saw the picture. My friend has one that has a gorgeous top knotch but he is colored exactly like him.

Oh and Luther came to mind when I saw him too!

He looks like a mottled Houdan like the one we have. Ours must be mixed with something else, though because they are supposed to have 5 toes and ours has 5 on one foot and 4 on the other. We call ours Devil, not only because of his looks, but he's very aggressive too and chases the kids around!
