What kind of rooster is this?

Hi,

I have a rooster that we rescued as a chick last year. I know the breeds of all of my hens, but now that chicks are hatching I'd like to know the breed of the rooster. Thanks for your help.

That looks very much like my rooster although mine has feathers on his legs. I have come to the conclusion that mine was a mutt but a great protector of the flock and father to some new baby chicks.
