What kind of silkie is this?

    This is a silkie chicken I hatched from eggs I purchased on Ebay. One is a frizzle and this one has smooth feathers that lay down but 5 toes and black skin... it this a "smooth silkie" or what do we call this type? It is very sweet!!!

    Welcome to BYC! Your Silkie appears to be a Silkie cross, as she doesn't have Silkie feathering. Her color variety is blue. She's very pretty!

    [​IMG] she does look like a cross, I've never seen silkies that color. If you post her photo on the silkie thread they might be able to identify the cross. I hope someone didn't take advantage of you - selling them as silkie eggs.
