What kind of treats are good for my chickens that they would love?

We just got a few chickens and would like to know what treats are good for them besides their normal feed. They are about 3 months old right now so they are still on starter feed. And how old should they be when I start feeding them laying mash or whatever it's called? Would appreciate any info!!!

Usually people start feeding chickens layer food once they reach laying age (about 16 weeks).
