I have Bourbon Reds and it doesn't look like any of my poults.

Got a question, this new poult just puked on me, is that normal? I received it from friend and I don't know conditions it was from. It seems terrified of me. It worries me that i may have a sick baby, so ive taken extra cautions to not give anything to my flock of chickens.

I never had a poult vomit. I would say not normal.

As to what color your turkey is, I haven't raised a bourbon red for a while, but it doesn't look that different from what I remember, although Kuntrygirl is rolling in Bourbons so i'd have to go with her on that one. The black patch on the back could be the dark stripe of a sweetgrass. They can be a bit variable.

It is not a bronze (standard or red), white (Holland or midget), Royal Palm, Calico, Narragansett (regular or golden), blue, black or wild, so if its not a Bourbon Red, its not a standard color. (The list is not all of standard colors, and there are obviously lots of other colors it isn't, but this is no time to be picky)
